The 100 Lines of Code game jam challenges your ability to make a game with a large scope to asset ratio. How big can you make your game with only 100 lines of code?

This Game Jam is limited to GameMaker Studio 1.4 and 2. This is to put all submissions on an equal playing field.

You are limited in how many sprites and sounds you are allowed as well. Only 6 sprites (including backgrounds) with 3 sub-images each. Only 3 sounds and 1 song allowed.

Important: Your code must be properly formatted as shown below because technically you could write all of your code in one line using GML.

We don't expect anyone to spend a large amount of time on their games for this jam, the amount of time we gave is to allot time for more people to submit their game, or submit multiple if they wish!

RULES:

• Only individuals may submit games. This means no teams! (However, you are encouraged to submit as many games as you'd like, if you want to design more than one!)
• GameMaker Studio 1.4 or 2 only.
  • No extensions allowed.
• Resource Limits:
  • 6 sprites with up to 3 sub-images each
  • 3 sounds, plus 1 song.
  • All assets must be created during the jam
• Submit a project file so we can validate your scripts and assets
• No more than 100 lines of code, formatted as shown in the guidelines!
