The ArtCenter Game Jam challenges high school and college-aged students to assemble a team and take an idea from concept to a playable game in about 48 hours.
From Friday evening through Sunday afternoon, participants will get hands-on opportunities in designing video games, pitching concepts and working in teams, culminating with an award ceremony and online showcase on Twitch. Throughout the weekend, participants will hear from special guest speakers, network with industry professionals, get a chance to earn prizes and more...

REGISTRATION
You need to be 13 years old or older to participate.
There is no cost to enter but participation is limited so it is important to register early. (More information on Discord)
The Game Jam is primarily intended for high school and college-aged students but we welcome everyone. Our goal is to inspire.
THEME
The theme will be announced live on Zoom when the jam starts (Friday March 11th, 12pm PST). It will be posted here on itch.io and on our Discord Server.
SCHEDULE

Saturday March 12th - Time TBD: Guest Speakers on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/artcentergamejam)
Sunday March 13th - 1pm PST: all games must be submitted.
Sunday March 13th - 2pm PST: Game Demos and Awards on Twitch (https://www.twitch.tv/artcentergamejam)
Wednesday March 16th - midnight: end of itch.io voting. Winner will be revealed on our Discord Server.
RULES
The maximum team size is 8. But we recommend teams of 4 or 5.
You can reuse existing code and assets as long as you have the rights to use them.
Your entry must be your own original work or free online resources. Your entry may not include any third party trademarks (logos, names) or copyrighted materials (music, images, video, recognizable people) unless you have obtained permission to use the materials.
Appropriate credits must be given.
