Games must be submitted to this itch.io page before 5:00pm on January 31st, 2025

Games may be worked on by teams of 1 to 6 people. Teams can also include ONE freshman "shadow" who would not be eligible for prizes but can contribute to the project and can be credited accordingly.

Assets used must be either FREE or created by a team member. If they are free assets you must have the rights to use them. 

AI assisted assets are not allowed.

🏆 Winning & Prizes 🏆

The overall winners will receive $25 in steam credit each. In addition, the other themed categories will receive $15 each in steam credit. Teams cannot win in more than one category, and shadows are not eligible for prizes.

Overall Best Game (Most points across the categories): Each category is scored out of 5 by our panel of industry professional judges.

❓ FAQ ❓

Q: When can I start work on my game? A: You can’t start until 5:00pm on January 31st, 2025. You can prepare for the jam by making sure your software is up to date.

Q: How do I form a team? A: Our Discord is full of developers you can team up with. You can also meet people at the mixer at the start of the jam. 

Q: What can I use to make my game? A: Any and all non-AI software is allowed to be used, as long as you can submit your game to itch.io. Unity, Godot, Unreal, Twine, GameMaker, etc. are all encouraged! Creative solutions are also definitely allowed as long as the solution includes an objective, an outcome, and a set of rules to get there. (Pygame, powerpoint game, scratch, etc.)
