Welcome to the 3 Gnomes Game Jam 2024!
The THEME is: USE IT or LOSE IT
How it works:
The theme for the game jam will be announced at the start of the jam (March 8th at 1pm central time) via Itch.io and the 3 Gnomes Games YouTube Channel. From there, you'll have a week and an extra weekend (around 9 days) to complete, upload, and submit your finished game BEFORE midnight on March 17th (Central Time).
ANYONE CAN ENTER
This Game Jam is intended to be extremely accessible to both experienced indie game devs AND those who are just getting started! There's no cost to enter and no penalties if you fail! It's just about pushing yourself! Also, the submission deadline is over a week long, so you can approach the project a little more comfortably than some other game jams! Join above for more information as it comes along or just to remember!
Rules:
- Must submit within the deadline (March 8th 1pm through March 17th at Midnight Central Time Zone)
- Must use the THEME that will be provided at the start in the design of the game
- Must not be a submission of an existing project created before the Game Jam
- You can work ALONE or in teams of NO MORE THAN 6 contributors
- Submissions MUST have some form of START MENU (to enter the game), PAUSE MENU (to return to the start menu), CREDITS (to list who worked on the project), and an obvious way to exit the program (CLOSE GAME for example)
- Games MUST NOT be excessively NSFW or excessively inappropriate for casual audiences
- AI Art MUST NOT be used for any code or assets
- Finished project must be playable on Windows or Browsers
