Pretty fun, matches the theme of the jam good too! Though I must say, I wish the blocks fell smoothly, the way they fall now feels kind of strange.
Thanks for the feedback! I purposely made them not smooth, to be more like retro Tetris. If I continue to work on this then I will make it smooth.
This concept has a lot of potential i think to be a fun little arena type platformer. the player having free movement while the blocks are falling on a grid feels a little weird but you could build some really nice platforming mechanics to the point where you can traverse through around in multiple ways and maybe challenge other players. gg though.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, currently you can jump on the falling blocks but since they are not falling smoothly it becomes a bit hard. It should work better once I fix that, maybe a power up to slow down the blocks would help further in climbing up.
