This was such a fun demo!

I have to admit, when the tweets and posts first went up and I saw that you guys had made a VN, I got so excited (excited enough to cause an energy crash like 30 minutes later, in fact xD)! The story sounded awesome, and the art looked gorgeous.

You guys really did an amazing job with Domestic Dread. After playing it, I'm positively hooked.
I loved the story. I'm terribly fond of the amnesia trope when it's executed well, and it definitely was in this case. It was not only realistic due to the injury, but it also meant that we as the player knew we probably couldn't trust all of what Marcelo was saying. Not to mention that the mystery of just what had happened left me on the edge of my seat!
Hell, I still don't know if Bradan actually had been the one to accidentally injure the main character (I'd assume it was an accident, but I don't know if it was??) or if Marcelo did something to stage all of this. Although, I'm hoping that because Marcelo is so into the main character that he wouldn't have injured them to stage this, but... yanderes do weird shit.
Either way, it definitely seemed like Bradan possibly didn't deserve what happened to him even if he was the one to hurt the main character, but I guess we'll have to find out in the full release which bits of information were correct or not. (I'm a little dense so if there were lots of hints that Bradan actually was a really bad guy and not just annoying, I didn't get it xD)

Speaking of Marcelo... he was such a fun character. I loved the underlying darkness to his otherwise sweet personality. The fact that he was our character's friend made his motivations more realistic (not right, but more understandable.)
Of course, the fact that he cared so much in his own way did make him rather scary. I mean, beyond the murderous tendencies towards Bradan. Marcelo did seem kinda... overbearing, as yandere characters tend to.
On top of Marcelo's fun personality, he was gorgeous. His design was so damn good (and hot), and he was so expressive! Leo did a wonderful job with Marcelo's sprite (and the CGs were so good! aaah! The ending CGs were sufficiently creepy and/or bloody, but they were so damn good to look at. And the backgrounds were really lovely too!)

(Also, as an aside because I'm rambling: I loved the fourth wall break when we refused to comfort Marcelo. The "how could you" made me laugh.)

Seriously, this was such a good demo. I'm beyond excited for the full release!

Thank you guys for working hard on this demo. I hope the full game development goes smoothly, and I am willing to wait for as long as it takes!
