Welcome to the third Seven Day 3D Jam!

This jam is a non-ranked for-fun challenge. The goal? Create something, anything 3D, broaden your horizons and challenge yourself to try something risky and new with only seven days to do it!

For example, any of the following could be a fun pick and could be considered valid for submission:

  • A from-scratch software renderer
  • A simple first person shooter
  • An offline raytracer
  • A psuedo-3D game (E.G: Outrun, Space Harrier, F-Zero)
  • A real "3D" game (Anaglyph glasses anybody?)

There are no restrictions on language or platform. Source code can be uploaded and made available on your submission page if you'd like to show it off.

RULES

(Note that the rules have been updated slightly since last year, please read!)

  • Pre-existing frameworks, tools or personal libraries are allowed! Feel free to build off prior work!
  • There are no platform, tool or programming language restrictions. Go nuts!
  • Teams are allowed and encouraged!
  • Assets (Images, Textures, Audio, etc) may be created from scratch or sourced during the jam. Personal libraries of textures/models are permitted, as are any free-to-use assets (Just make sure to adhere to any attribution requirements if necessary).

EXTRA INFORMATION (SOFTWARE RENDERING)
