Some enemies could have been placed better, at one point my bullets seemed to pass through a zombie, and despite the levels being simpler than Doom's, the lack of a map made me get lost. But in the end, after I figured out how the levels were put together, I felt this game truly understood what made Doom so fun. The five compact levels only include the most important and distinct enemies, and somehow the lost souls are cute, though I did miss pinkies. The final fight against the Cyberdemon was even better than the real Doom's. Also, good call to remove the run button.
