This is a pretty neat idea. I actually have been playing with this idea for a while... my RPG has a word-based system of magick, and I'm working on a card game where you make spells by combining syllables in a magic language. This is a really nice, simple way of having adventures with a really uniquely personal way to cast spells. Nice work!
I like how it looks like a game from the 60's-70's, too.
