What was the inspiration for your project? (Optional)
My time developing online games portals like candystand.com and nabiscoworld.com where our most popular and played casual game, by far, was our minigolf game (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Dnk_8F7w9Z0). AR works best with snackable content and the minigolf game mechanic is universally familiar and appeals to all ages and demographics. Offering custom minigolf courses at different VPS locations around the world opens up a variety of possibilities for branded and themed hole design, licensing, global/social leaderboards and in-app purchases

good idea! Ever thought about letting the user design the course at each VPS location? Might be an interesting take on multiplayer.
Multiplayer is definitely on the roadmap for this. Minigolf is very much a social activity best played with friends. Would first like to make a CMS for updating holes branding/logo images and level designs. Having a way for people to design and share custom golf courses could be an extension of that.

very cool - I love the idea of taking a stroll and then finding a mini golf hole all around town. I hope that this can be used in all different places. It's like a mini golf version of pokemon go.
