What was the inspiration for your project? (Optional)
Vivid Sydney is an event that runs for 2 weeks around May-June each year in Sydney - https://www.vividsydney.com/ It's an amazing event that draws large crowds to the city at those times as they can only be experienced then. I thought VPS and AR would be a way to let others experience a bit of Vivid Sydney without only being in Sydney at those specific times. I captured some videos of projections that were being shown then, did some 3D captures of some of the installations and used AR to help bring that experience to life with AR. As this is a VPS challenge, these AR experiences are triggered only when the user is at a specific location but rather than only on locations at Vivid Sydney, I have set them up to be visible at other locations including outer suburbs.
