Briefly describe your project key features and tech stack used.
The project is an interactive 8th Wall's Portal experience made using Three.js, A-Frame, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript with responsive UI design. We also implemented a small AI controller in pure JS to allow children to move around the stage without intersecting with each other, run up to the tent and get in line if there is already another child in front of them. The original idea also involved using the Hand Tracking function to allow the user to pick items with their own hands inside the portal, but unfortunately, it turned out that this opportunity is yet to come on the 8th Wall :)

What was the inspiration for your project?
With this project, we aim to immerse users into the world of Haitian children, provide them with the opportunity to become a member of the charitable organization Hope for Haiti, and encourage them to help children both through gameplay and by providing real financial assistance.

A small project about a big problem. It's a really cool job.  Awesome!

smooth graphics though it prob be better to have the hand providing made a darker skin tone. Feels like inventory was not created specific to Hope for Haiti mission ( flashlight, toy car, scarf? )

Thank you very much for the feedback! We considered that, but we decided that by using intentionally mismatched items, we could capture the user's attention and highlight the truly important and essential items provided by the Hope for Haiti organization.
