Welcome to the 2nd edition (June 2022) of the monthly game jam! This game jam is about developing a video game within a week timeframe (7 days). At the end of the jam there will be a 48 hours rating period which will decide the winners!

Will be revealed 1 hour before the jam start

1. Assets should be made during the jam period, except for external assets, general purpose code, designing, bases and models, placeholders, and story.

2. External assets can be used if you have the rights to and leave credit to the author when submitting in the "External assets" field when required. Of course, the assets you choose don't have to be made during the jam.

3. Incomplete games are accepted, but your submission should be playable.

4. Teaming is accepted and encouraged! There is no maximum team members.

5. You are free to use any game engine.

6. No NSFW or extreme gore. We wish for the games to be playable by everyone.

7. The game should preferably have a web build. Other builds are allowed, but keep in mind a reduced number of people will be able to vote on those.

8. Making changes after the deadline is not possible. Also know that linking to an external site will disqualify you from the jam.

9. Late submissions are accepted but you will have to message a host.

The games will be rated by submitters only. The ratings are split into 5 categories: 

    Theme: How well did the game fit into the jam's theme?

    Gameplay: Was the game well polished and fun overall?

    Game design: Was it difficult to learn to play? Was the game balanced? 

    Graphics: Have you enjoyed the overall aesthetic of the art, post processing and other effects?

    Audio: Was the audio (sound effects and music) well made? Did it fit the game or did it seem out of place?

These are all a few example questions you could ask yourself to help with giving ratings!

The winning team with the highest overall ratings will earn a shoutout and a fancy role on our discord, and so will the #1 winners of each category!
