The Adventure Jam!

This game jam is to make a game about exploring. You will have 2 weeks to make a game about adventuring into an unknown area. The area will be revealed when the jam starts, this includes, but is not limited to: Forest, Space, An unknown planet, the bottom of the ocean, or other areas. It can be voted for on the  Discord. Or here: Area Form. Still, you should join the discord because the winner will be announced there. You could also bounce ideas back and forth between you fellow devs.

Breaking the rules will disqualify you, your team, and your game.

Can I Submit More Than One Game: Yes, I guess. You do you.

How will the games be judged: They will be judged on the following categories:

World Design: How fun it is to explore?

Area: How well do you represent the area that is chosen?

Movement: How fun is it to move?

The Point: Why are you exploring? Is it to get a treasure? To make a map? Why?

Music and art: Do I have to explain?

Do I have to use the area that was voted on: No, but you will loose points (Look at question above).

What do you get for winning: The satisfaction of it, and maybe a little pixel art thing saying you won for on your game page. Maybe I will show the games off on my YouTube channel: GMJ YouTube

Can I work with a team: Yes, only submit the game once though.

Does it have to be 2d or 3d: Anything you want! 2d, 3d, 2.5d, 4d! (Top-down or platformer).
