Glad you got this to work! It's a really fun setup with lots of voice and humor--I had a great time making my evil plan! But in its current state it feels more like a prototype than an actual game--it feels more like you're telling me what I will be able to do eventually, rather than letting me play. Letting us have a few rounds of sending out the henchmen, earning money, and buying stuff before Nadya shows up would make it feel like a lot more of a proper game.
For sure! I’m certainly going to flesh it out and keep working on it after the jam :)
I couldn't get it to run, sorry.
Did you download the pck file as well? It’s my first time exporting a game so there’s probably a better way to do it but it should work if you have both files.
OH! Did not realize you had to download both files to run it. Tried it again and it works now. (How about zipping the two files in a folder together?)
It's working now and I'm finding it very funny and clever! I really enjoy resource management games; they're one of my favorite genres. I ran into an error while I was talking to Naya and couldn't get any farther though...
Thank you! I was seeing that error a lot but it wasn’t affecting the game when I ran it so I didn’t think too much about it. So dang it haha And I will definitely zip them together in the future!
lmk if you fix that bug and I'll give it another spin!
Sounds good! Am I allowed to do bug fixes at this point or wait until voting is over?
Bugfixes are fine, according to the FAQ.
Alright, I've fixed it up so you should be able to play through to the end now! And I figured out how to embed the pck file into the game itself, so just one download.
