Once again you've created an insanely huge game! And in my opinion, this game is your funniest yet. Despite the dark theme, there were quite a few things in the dialogue that made me laugh. Was a good idea to provide a walkthrough as well, as I had to refer to it a few times - nothing major, just stuff that I'd overlooked. For instance, to find out that I could exit the screen to the south to reach the lighthouse.
Thanks :-) I'm really glad you liked it - and for your kind feedback :-)
(and I'm taking notes about post-jam improvements - like making more evident some directions point)
Wow, there's a ton of content here! I also made a Lovecraftian game, but your story and art are definitely on another level compared to mine.
Took me over an hour to play through, and I did consult the walkthrough a couple times. The puzzles mostly felt fair, although there were some times where I knew conceptually what I wanted the characters to do, but not quite how to get them to do it UI-wise. The story was definitely unexpected and had a good mix of comedy and compelling mystery. Overall, a great game! Can't give you extra points for creativity, though, since by your own admission it was based on events that actually happened... : )
wow :-) thanks for playing it - and so soon (I mean - I know it's stupid - but knowing that someone (else) was able to reach the end it means that I didn't miss too many odd bugs here and there) - and thanks for your really kind words. Yes - I surely have to polish some points because it may have unnaturally complex sequences/actions to get a "natural" result.
Now I'm really curious to see how you handled the Lovecraft-base theme :-)
Thanks again :-)
