Objective
Your mission is to develop a 2D game featuring fighter jets as the primary combat mechanic. Whether you choose a side-scrolling shooter, top-down dogfighting arena, or another creative interpretation, your game should capture the thrill and intensity of aerial combat.
Requirements
All submissions must include:
- 2D gameplay (any perspective: side view, top-down, isometric, etc.)
- At least one playable fighter jet aircraft
- Combat mechanics (weapons systems, evasive maneuvers)
- Clear win/loss conditions
- Basic UI elements (health, ammo, score)
You are allowed to use assets that aren't made by you, but still - you have to properly credit all third-party assets and ensure they're used in accordance with their respective licenses.
Judging Criteria
- Your game should be easily downloadable (make a setup wizard)
- Supporting many platforms makes the game better.
- Use of AI.
- Open-source - we love it.
- Support of joysticks.
- User interface
- Optimization - can it run on a potato?
- Are your hands sweaty after playing for 20 minutes?
- Is your game unique?
- Did you make the assets?
