AfroJam is a game jam created by Black artists to promote game development in Black spaces. It is unranked and ultimately non-competitive. We strongly encourage creatives of all skill levels to participate!

Game must be made solely within the time constraints of the jam (use of pre-existing scripts is permitted).

Submissions may not contain nudity, explicit sexual content, or distasteful offensive material.

Optional theme: Roses. You may incorporate it into your project however you like.

Can non-black people work on my game?
Yes. Just remember that we're here to encourage Black creatives to make Black games. Lets keep them at the forefront.

What exactly is a Black game?
Whatever a Black game-dev feels it is ^_^

Can I work on my game after the deadline?
Your games must be submitted before the jam ends. With that being said, you are more than welcome to release revised or completed versions of your game outside of the jam.
