A downloadable game for Windows and Linux.
One of my favorite games I've played by far. The 3d graphics are pretty good, the 2d artwork is amazing, the story is compelling, the gameplay is smooth. The controls are (mostly) intuitive, and for the level of control given to the player over the characters, fairly simple. They take a little getting used to, but are quite enjoyable and easy to use. The gameplay itself is challenging, but doesn't feel like a repetitive grind without consequences. There is a fair selection of weaponry available, almost all of it having a short but detailed lore. Clipping and overlapping textures are nonexistent from what I've seen. Almost all of the game can be figured out through trial and error, and the forgiving save system makes that even easier. I'm looking forward to seeing where the game and story goes from here.
