Hey, thanks for the review! The inertia is there cause movement with out it feels unpleasant to me, so I decided to make the acceleration really high, so that you reach maximum speed in about 0.1 seconds. Yeah, blinking right now is rather expensive, I'm going to lower its cost to half the energy bar instead of whole bar, but I need to fix the flashing animation first. I don't think I'll add any more effects for enemies when they're ready to attack, but I will add sounds, and maybe a color selection for colorblind people.
You clearly communicate the red/yellow/green concept for when an enemy will hit you, this is smart. It was overall enjoyable, just a bit punishing (maybe in the beginning have it be "red" for a bit longer so I can avoid better). See video for impressions, great job!
Hey, thanks for the feedback! I'll probably tweak the reaction time and will definitely add a tutorial to introduce players to mechanics as well as get them accustomed to the speed.
Also, which browser did you use? Cause neither in Chrome nor in Firefox does space scroll down the page for me.
