I'm not very good at this, but it's still very fun and addicting! Aside from my lack of skill, the only problem I noticed is the ball would temporarily disappear sometimes. Excellent demo!
Neat idea, fun, well implemented and thought out. I just think dashing should be free, as it's already hard enough to use. I know the interface is most definitely WIP, but it could use some work, like putting the special bars near the player instead of way up there. Props for enginedevving and online multiplayer, even if I didn't play that.
I really like the concept here, animations are great, visible hitboxes are a plus. The main problem IMO was too long of a delay from key press to hit box. It doesn't need to be instantaneous, but it feels too punishing in its current form IMO. Overall good job though.
I'd just like to preface this comment by saying that I am terrible at this game. I found getting the timing right to hit the ball even with basic moves took some practice, and consistently activating diagonal moves was challenging.
That said, this looks pretty cool, I like the concept, and I'd like to see it played by skilled players. If you were inclined to raise the skill floor at all, you might consider shortening the attack wind-up.
A few random issues:
The word tutorials page title gets close to getting cut off by the edge of the screen.
Seems to be some issue with the screen size, as there's a large black area on the right side of the window.
I don't know what I have to do to complete the dash cancelling tutorial.
The "Super attacks" tutorial doesn't get greyed out after completing it.

were you fighting against wizard? he can make the ball invisible
and thanks for playing!
Yep, that explains it! Well, your demo is perfect in that case.
