The game is set in a world based on the war between scambaiters vs scammers called Terra Target, which its geography and cultures are similar to that of the real world. In the present day, our protagonist Rinoa Poison gets her identity stolen by the Evil Scammer Empire Suppoat through a clone created genetically by the Empire's top scientists. Since then Rinoa and her friends are on the run and venture to not only reclaim their identities, but ultimately save the world.

I feel like the bug-out theme does apply to this game as Rinoa Poison is forced on the run after an incident involving the empire of scammers. Since then, she will have to obtain an ancient power equaling to the scammers' power and fight.
