Track 1 - Bring a game to Avalanche/Build a game on Avalanche: $10,000
This track is all about showcasing the power of Avalanche as a gaming platform. Participants can either build a new game or adapt an existing one to integrate with Avalanche’s ecosystem, demonstrating innovation, scalability, and creativity. Eligibility
The NeuraNode | Avalanche Game Jam is open to all developers, regardless of experience level or background. Whether you’re a seasoned professional or new to game development, you’re welcome to participate.
Individuals and teams can join, but each participant must register individually. Participants must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent if under 18. Ensure you have access to the required tools and resources to maximize your experience.
Let your creativity shine—everyone is invited to innovate, learn, and compete!
Winners will be invited to a mandatory video call where their prizes will be revealed.
Judging Criteria
Track 1 - Enhance Your Game with Our Tools
Participants in Track 1 will be judged based on their ability to integrate NeuraNode marketplace tools into an existing game. The evaluation will include:
1. Integration Quality (25%)
- API Usage: How effectively are the NeuraNode marketplace tools integrated into the game?
- Blockchain Interaction: Preference is given to games that utilize Avalanche blockchain features.
- Seamlessness: How smoothly do the new tools enhance the game without disrupting the user experience?
2. Innovation (20%)
- Creativity: How creatively are the tools used to enhance the game?
- Uniqueness: Does the integration introduce new and unique features to the game?
3. Technical Execution (20%)
- Functionality: Are the integrated tools functioning as intended without bugs or issues?
- Performance: Does the integration affect the game’s performance positively or negatively?
4. User Experience (20%)
- Improvement: How significantly does the integration improve the overall user experience?
- Feedback: Incorporation of user feedback on the enhancements.
5. Impact and Potential (15%)
- Scalability: Can the enhancements be scaled or extended in future updates?
- Marketability: How likely are the enhancements to attract more players or increase engagement?

Educational Modules
We believe in empowering developers with the proper knowledge and resources to succeed. Most tools provided in this Game Jam will be accompanied by an educational module to ensure you understand how to build with it properly.
Each module can include a quiz that will test the participant's understanding and reward them with Game Jam points towards community prizes.
