WHAT IS AXOLOTE JAM?
Axolote Jam is a weekly game development competition focused on creativity, learning and fun. No prizes, the goal is to create amazing games based on a given theme and share experiences with other developers.

AXOLOTE JAM RULES
Responsibility for games: Each developer is entirely responsible for the content and creation of their game, including possible copyright and license violations.
Theme: The game must be based on the theme of the edition. Creative interpretations are welcome.
Licensing: If you use third-party resources, ensure they are properly licensed and give appropriate credit.
Content: The game must be suitable for all ages, without offensive, NSFW, explicit, or discriminatory content.
AI (Artificial Intelligence): You may not use AI to create art, music, or other assets. The aim is to stimulate the creativity of participants
Respect and inclusion: Discrimination, hate speech, or toxic behavior of any kind is prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
Submission format: All games must be playable in a web browser.
Plagiarism: Plagiarism of any kind will result in immediate disqualification
Be kind: Respect other participants and maintain a healthy and friendly environment.
Ownership: The game you create belongs to you, and you retain all rights to it.
No prizes: There are no financial or material prizes. The fun, friends, and games created along the way are the real reward.
Itch.io policies: All participants must follow the rules and policies established by the Itch.io platform.

VOTING SYSTEM
The voting process is exclusive to contributors and participants who submitted games. This ensures a fair and engaging evaluation, as only those involved in the jam will have the opportunity to cast their votes and celebrate the creativity of their peers.
Participants will evaluate games based on the following criteria:
- Creativity: How unique and innovative is the game concept?
- Gameplay: How engaging and enjoyable is the game to play?
- Art: The visual quality and style of the game.
- Music and Sounds: The quality and use of audio elements to enhance the experience
