THERE ARE TWO RULES OF COOL GAME DESIGN: FUCK UP THE MOON, AND PUT A LABRYINTH UNDER THE CASTLE.

I could play games with nasty, messed-up lunar bodies and mazes all day every day. I bet you could, too. Let's try. I double dog-dare you to try, actually. Before we can start, we're gonna need some games.

We're gonna have to make some games.

RULES (THERE ARE SLIGHTLY MORE THAN TWO RULES)

  1. FUCK UP THE MOON
    1. Are there two, three, four moons? Is there no moon at all? Is there something strange on it? Hiding behind it? Is the moon about to collide with something else? Is the moon a cold and uncaring god who hates us and wishes we were never born? Honestly, I can't wait to find out. Mess it up profoundly, though. Go big or go home.
  2. PUT A LABYRINTH UNDER THE CASTLE
    1. No one has ever regretted building a labyrinth under their castle, right? Right??
    2. "Castle" is a subjective term. Get as weird about this one as you want.
  3. AI IMAGES AND TEXT ARE ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED
    1. Please be careful if you choose to use stock images, even paid stock. Some unscrupulous folks don't tag AI content, which sucks.
    2. Looking for art? Tired of filtering through public domain resources? Ask me nicely! I'll be taking requests and making a free art pack for this jam to say thanks for participating.
  4. NO VIDEO GAMES
    1. This jam is for physical games only. If your downloads don't contain a PDF or RTF this jam is probably not for you.
    2. Classic TTRPGs, modules for existing systems, keyed maps, journaling games, etc, are all welcome.
