Don't be to hard on yourself. Submitting a playable game at all is something to be proud of (not even half the people who joined this jam were able to submit something). That being said, the character controls fine and everything works as expected. The hit-box is a little off making jumps feel weird. More levels would have been nice, but having things like a title screen, options menu, and death screen does make this game feel a lot more polished than it otherwise would have been.

Don't go hard on yourself. My first attempt to make a platformer was much worse. My character sorta floated instead of jumped. Great job!

of course! My game badly needs more sound effects too. All I have is a honk atm, which people have (understandably) said made them jump. My game isn't finished yet, though. I plan on it a ton more.
