Welcome to the Best of March jam! 

The goal of this jam is to create the Best of March Bundle, featuring only the top 5 games.

Theme and Duration

Theme: There is no required theme this time, but try to submit your most recent game. 

Timeline: The game jam ends one week before the end of the month. Voting will be during the last week of the month, and only those who submitted a game will be able to vote.

Rules and Guidelines

Eligibility: Anyone can participate! Whether you’re a seasoned developer or a first-timer, you’re welcome.

Submission Requirements: Submit a playable game along with any necessary requirements (such as a password to play).

Playable: Your game needs to be open to judging. So it must have a trailer video, or a free demo.

Price: Only paid games, as this will be a premium bundle.

Judging 

All participants (including you!) will evaluate each other’s games. We’ll tally the scores based on the judging criteria.

The top 5 games will make it to our exclusive bundle.

Criteria

1. Gameplay (Primary): How fun and engaging is your game?
2. Graphics and Art: Visual appeal matters.
3. Sound and Music: High-quality audio enhances the experience.
4. Innovation: Surprise us.
5. Polish and Presentation: Attention to detail counts.

Profit Sharing

Equal Split: All submissions in the Top 5 share the profits equally.

Host’s Share: As the host, I’ll take the same percentage as a submission.

Transparency: We’re open to answer any questions.

Submission Terms

By submitting your game to our game jam, you agree to the following terms:

1. Game Display and Judging:
   • You grant us permission to showcase your game during the judging process.
   • All submitted games will be evaluated by other participants.
2. Bundle Inclusion:
   • If your game ranks among the top 5, it will be included in our exclusive bundle.
   • The bundle will feature only the best games from the jam.
   • If a creator submits two or more games, only the top one can make it into the bundle.
3. Responsiveness:
   • If you become unresponsive during the process (e.g., repeatedly fail to reply or provide necessary information), your inclusion may pass to the next highest-ranked game (6th place, and so on).

Banned Submissions

We uphold a respectful and inclusive environment. Submissions that contain NSFW content, promote hate speech, or discriminate against any group will not be accepted. Let’s keep it positive and creative! We reserve the right to refuse any submission that we deem harmful, inappropriate, or violating the spirit of our game jam.
