Doesn't work for me in browser. Using Chromium on Linux. And there isn't a native version to try out. It's as if the character gets loaded before the level, and falls through, causing a "gameover".

Developer

ooph, I ran out of time and wasn't able to try it out on different devices. My laptop isn't too powerful so it's possible when running at a stable framerate there are weird issues 🤔

Thanks for trying it out, I'll keep that in mind if I work on this some more or reuse parts.

Congrats on getting a 3D game finished in limited time! I thought the main mechanic was pretty innovative and it would be cool to see it developed further.

Wonderful. Very cute. I wish the jump was higher, it felt like it didn't do anything, and certain donuts weren't obtainable (tragic).

Developer

Thanks! Yeah, I'm actually not sure what is causing that... on my laptop the jump works better but if I fullscreen it doesn't... but also sometimes it does 🤔 I kinda ran out of time to figure it out haha

Gotta be honest, I got slightly motion sick when playing this. Also I'm smelling the new rapier character controller based on the auto-stepping. 😁

Developer

ah sorry you got motion sick! Would be interesting to figure out why so I can avoid that in the future. And yeah, the auto-step is pretty useful; it was my first time using it. Thanks for playing!

It was only very slightly, but I'd venture a guess it was actually 'cause of the auto-stepping as there was a lot of sudden movements that were out of my control.

This is a very interesting concept, making the floor disappear after a certain amount of time. This simple concept paves a way for complex strategies for covering the most amount of ground possible in the limited time. I had lots of fun playing this, good job! :)

Developer

Yeah, I had plans for making the ground shift a bit horizontally too and for the donuts to have side effects of increasing/decreasing the rate of the floors disappearing/reappearing but just ran out of time. Thank you for playing!

It did not work :(

Developer

oh no! What browser and OS are you using? How large is your screen? How exactly did it not work?

Submitted

Basically ended directly, using brave browser and linux. QHD screen
