I've seen a gap in games covering this content, so this Jam is being run to give more life to a very conceptual theme with more theories than facts. All submissions must follow the rules of the submission details.
Did you enjoy games like Deus Ex, Prey, and Cyberpunk 2077 and want to see new media portraying Transhuman concepts? The goal of the Beyond Human Jam is to create a game themed around such concepts. The setting can be anywhere and any time and any universe but MUST be Transhuman in nature, how ever you decide to portray it is your call. Games created before 9/13/2024 10 AM CST will not be accepted, this must be new content created by yourself or a team. AI generated content in any form will not be accepted, you must use the think meat in your skull cage and create something to the best of your abilities. In development games are welcome to be submitted, but must be created after the aforementioned date and time.
Are you a brand new developer or an industry veteran? Anyone is welcome to join. If you are an artist or musician, or writer who deals in these subjects, or just want to see whats going on, watch some people work and get inspired? Again all are welcome.
I make no claims or rights to any of your content. When the jam is over, it will be put together as a bundle and offered up as a free package of games for players and game masters to sink their teeth into and explore worlds unknown.
