General Information

Birmingham Alabama's Halloween Game Jam, hosted by the local Bham GameDev Group. This is the 6th game jam we've hosted. We are excited to see what everyone brings to the table.

Rating

This jam is for fun and to get to know fellow gamedevs in the Birmingham area. It is not a competition. That means we will not be rating entries!

Teams

Since this is an unrated jam, there are no strict rules on team structure. Work solo or with a team.

Theme

The theme is Halloween! Make spooky, scary or whimsical games that fit the season. Do you have to follow the theme? Not necessarily, since this is just for fun, but we strongly encourage it!

Do I have to make a video game? No, you can make anything considered a game. Physical games, like board games, or a role playing game prototype would be awesome!

Can I start early? It's fine to start brainstorming and finding a team, but we ask that all work be done during the game jam times.
