So Tallawah, I must say, it's a breath of fresh air in the adventure game genre. Set in the vibrant streets of Montego Bay in a specific time is a very is a unique setting, I love how this game follows Seashell, a Jamaican girl on a charming quest to gather groceries and make traditional beef patties with her grandmother. It's a unique concept that immediately caught my attention. What I love most about Tallawah is its non-violent approach and the cultural immersion. The Jamaican proverbs are amazing and I dont think I have actually seen that utilized in other games.
Overall, Tallawah is a delightful experience. It's not your typical adventure game, but that's what makes it special. It's a love letter to Jamaican culture, filled with warmth and positivity. If you're looking for a game that offers something different, with a focus on community and the environment, Tallawah is a must-play.
Pros:
Deep cultural immersion
Non-violent, community-focused gameplay
Beautiful original soundtrack
Positive environmental message
Cons:
Might not be action-packed enough for some players
The use of AI ART should always be discouraged. Badly drawn human art will always supersede the best AI art.
this game is a lot of fun. the controls are simple, the game's goals aren't complicated, and for a browser game to kill time in for hours, this is what I look for. It also gets quite challenging. As enemies aggro. Really enjoyed a lot of the cultural aspects too.
inventive, great music, well reasoned systems and I like the assists from the cousin and other hints. I had fun with this
so creative! The cultural aspect is really inspirational!
