Perhaps my computer’s age is showing. Perhaps stream made the game lag. Or perhaps it is simply every death creating a new entity on the floor. Regardless, Electrogene started off strong with reliable platforming, and color coding what was safe and what was not. However as the game progressed and things got harder, every death introduced more and more lag as another light bulb was dropped onto the floor. This caused my jumps to vary wildly in height, often out of my control, and made what should be easy sections near impossible, often sending me rocketing toward the ceiling where I had no choice but to embrace death.
