I don't tend to write reviews for games, but I'll make an exception for Songbirds. Because when I tell you there are exactly 2 TTRPGs that I'm obsessed with and have ever been truly obsessed with, and that this is one of them, I mean it. This is one of exactly 2 games I've read all the way through multiple times.

Songbirds is a violent dream built out of curdled buttermilk and what I imagine to be the darkside of the moon. It's fervent in it's devotion to details that sometimes don't mater, but ultimately decide your play, with mechanics that complement it by refusing to give define themselves by numbers. Now while the mathematician in me may boggle a little bit at that, the writer in my adores it. So hats off to the creator for crafting a game that I'm fucking obsessed with.
