I was excited for the concept of this game from the tagline supplied, though I was a little underwhelmed with the actual gameplay.  It kinda becomes a general top down wave survival game unfortunately.  Some clearer feedback tho:

  • Unlimited ammo capacity kinda ruins the point of the ammo on the field.  Especially since it just respawns.  The only times I really ended up getting close to running out of ammo were when I was avoiding movement entirely and just destroying enemies at far ranges.  I feel like adding a cap to the ammo so you have to be careful not to waste a bunch of it by grabbing it without the capacity for it.
  • The enemies seem as though they're supposed to be firing at the player (I assume) but they don't, which kinda ruins the danger of them since you can just endlessly outrun them and gun them down.  Especially since they don't really build up too much.
  • Cover, it's not really... useful.  Since the enemies ignore the cover and it doesn't generally impact the bullets actually hitting them.  Honestly based on the description and images I thought that the ammo on the ground would eventually grow into cover which you would be unable to pick up.  Unfortunately though it was very ineffective at being cover.

Overall the movement and controls felt pretty snappy, the visuals were minimalist but kinda interesting, though the endless small dots were a bit distracting and with blur when moving (possibly just my monitor) it's a little disorienting.  The main game and the impression I had of it before playing though had me quite interested.  Especially the balancing of ammo to cover.

Hi, thanks for the detailed feedback. I didn't really ask anyone to play, so I didn't expect the feedback at all, but this is VERY MUCH WELCOME. Sorry for late reply.

Yes, I just played this build, it really doesn't have enemy shooting. Sorry about that. Kinda one of the reasons I didn't think of promoting it.

Unlimited ammo capacity, is something I have tackled on. I am working on an android port, and I have added survival mode that stops regen of the bullets. As for normal mode, one of the bosses really sucks up bullets quickly and it becomes a game of survival based on what you accumulated.

And I have also added some powerup/weapons that consume a lot more bullets, primarily a lazer attack.
Tho from the starting, I actually encouraged players to hoard bullets and keep moving, as when you have more than 500 bullets, you shoot way faster. But yes, without the powerup or the boss, the number won't really go down.

Yeah, the cover isn't exactly full granular. It's kinda a wild card here, it allows you to shoot through by luck or by aligning, but that's difficult.

good concept but the white dots mixed with fast movement make this game kind of seizure educing and uncomfortable to play, the minimalist music fits well though
