Let's have a game jam where we build games from scratch! We sometimes forget that programming is as much a part of the medium of game development as the art and the design, and is what enables us to do unique things in games. But it's important! So let's program some games.

Rules:

+ No engines (Unreal, Unity, Godot)

+ Libraries like SDL, GLFW, stb_image, etc. are okay. Raylib, etc. are okay if you want to play on easy mode, because there are languages that literally ship with it. Honor system applies here. I have no money and there are no prizes, so it's all about what you think is a worthy challenge.

+ Copying boilerplate or tutorial code into your project is okay. Things like platform layer code, file loading etc.

+ You must submit a git repo with your entry. First commit must be AFTER the game jam starts, however, there's no restriction on licensing (it does not have to be FOSS). It can be a zip of the repository distributed with binaries or a link to a public repo (github etc.)

+ You must submit either a Windows build, or an in-browser build.

+ You must have a license to redistribute the assets you use, (it'd be pretty rad to make them yourself).

+ Teams are okay. Encouraged even!

+ You must be proud of your game. Rule of cool over all!
