It was just another day at Millennium Science School.

"We haven't made a single game since the Millenium Prize! How are we doing to justify everything to the Seminar Treasurer this time?!"

"Calm down! Maybe we could use Ali-"

"Totally out of the question!"

"G-guys... maybe we could ask Sensei for help..."

"Can Alice go and ask?"

"Yes! We need Sensei to put our feet to the flames!"

"Well... if it's Sensei, they'll manage for our sake."

"But then we really need to get serious!"

Lead the Game Development Department by example! With your visions, you can bring your students to unseen frontiers! Maybe even a whole new sort of game...?

Rules

1. CONTENT MUST BE BLUE ARCHIVE RELATED
2. NO EXPLICIT CONTENT | 'nuff said.
3. TRY TO NOT USE AI | Don't use MidJourney for your characters, but using AI-rendered assets found online is acceptable with credit.
4. COPYRIGHT | Credit Nexon Games, the artists, and/or seiyuus if you are using official assets.
5. NO MORE THAN 5 TO A TEAM | The prizes are a bit large, and I'm distributing them to each team.

For the sake of reassurances, however, this will be a light affair. If you don't finish your game on time, that's fine! Betas and prototypes are alright too.

Prizes

1st Place: Per person on a team (1-5), you are entitled to either a $50 Play Store/App Store gift card (if you are an American), or purchases on Steam totaling $60 that I will gift to you.

2nd Place: Per person on a team, either a $20 Play Store/App Store gift card or Steam purchases totaling $20.

3rd Place: Per person on a team, either a $10 Play Store/App Store gift card or Steam purchases totaling $10.

Helpful Resources

Never made a game before? Totally cool! A game jam is a very good environment to hone your craft or to pick it up totally new!

Are you a writer? Ren'Py is a free tool that you can use to create visual novels, based in Python. It's very accessible with a very receptive community to assist you in coding.

Pissed at Unity? Godot is a godsend that many itch.io devs use to create 2D and 3D games alike!

Need SFX? I personally like Pixabay a lot. It has a deep library of sounds that are all free to use.

Need random images? Wikicommons is an incredible tool that makes crediting images easy and that offers you a huge organized library.
