  • Great entry! As always, the visuals and mood are pitch perfect. The concept reminded me of classic adventure games mixed with a more recent horror game twist, which was very enjoyable. My one pain point is that the level design doesn't favor you winning in one try; if you go down to the depths, you learn which key you needed, but there was no way of predicting that and by then you're guaranteed to die. It might be a personal taste, but "lose-to-learn" games are not ideal to me.

    Regardless, overall great job, congrats!

  • Creepy atmosphere. I like the artstyle, am I right in saying it's a mix of Voxel art and pixel textured environments? The isometric controls are a little hard to deal with especially when suddenly having to dodge a monster. Also a monster did spawn right under me a few times which felt a little unfair until I realized purple squares were spawn points. The Level design is a little linear taking away from the players creative decision making. I like the tension with enemy placement and the door unlock mini games. That dining room looks great too! I appreciate the polish you put into rooms that don't have a serious impact on game-play, like the dining room and balcony.

Overall, this is a fantastic entry to BoltJam 2, Great job guys!
