This is a lot of work to complete in a month. Well done! Great start!

Obviously there's only so much you can do in a month, but after the jam if you do keep working on it, consider adding some animation/indication for when a character gets hurt and when the other is attacking. The art looks good, and the storytelling was nice. Good job!

Wow, that was a ton of assets to get together -- kudos for all the illustration work! It wasn't obvious to me which attacks were dealing damage to me vs the boss at first, so maybe clarifying that in the instructions would help new players.
