As a proof of concept / tech demo, I did really like the Vibes it had. Definitely was the main part that got me into it, cute art and good use of the folder aesthetic. Gameplay-wise, it was too easy to break and too easy to break in a way that causes you to totally ignore the game's systems. Without doing anything besides basic exploring by the end I had near infinite Chests / Keys, half of the last floor had every enemy die just from me entering and I never entered Heat outside of getting lost on Floor 1. And my healing would have negated it either way. Enemies also didn't have any unique behaviors which was a bit Eh.
With some rebalancing and expanding on it I could see Folder Dungeon becoming pretty good but as is I felt it was just Fine (I'd have given it a 2.5/5 or 5/10 if Itch let me)
Good game, great one if you take into account that it's been made in a week but I really fell the lack of sound effects. There are some but everything, every action, every enemy should have a sound. And the enemies are kinda hard to see until they are close enough to hurt you.
But otherwise it IS pretty good.
