How does your game fit the theme?
You pilot a sailboat in a race against oncoming storms. The calm before the storm involves much more stable conditions.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code and made all the in-game sprites.
The cover/banner picture and sound effects were sourced from others, and are credited on the game page.

love the game, for some reason it is very calming for me to sale the digital seas :) you could maybe add wake lines for the boat, and some rocks along with more buoys and maybe a seagull or two passing by when your in the calm period?

Great game idea!

Great idea. 20 boxes was a lot maybe 5-10 would have been enough. I love way the wind dictate the player to not go to the closest box. Loved it!

Really cool, I don't believe I've ever seen a sailing sim before, at least not like this. Love the mechanics, and I think this could be the foundation of a really cool simulation game.

Awesome to see a sailing game that is committed to fully representing navigation on the seas!

Excellent game design! Within 30 seconds I found myself hooked, wanting to collect all the boxes. I did manage to get all 20.

So I found it interested that the buoys were not the "real" challenge. For me, steering the ship was significantly hard than just avoiding the buoys (in fact, they seemed quite sparse in the later part of the game).

Great job. If you get a chance to play and review my game I'd appreciate it!
