How does your game fit the theme?
Welcome to Beach Clean Up Crew. This game fits the theme of "Calm before the storm" because there is a period of low activity and then a literally storm shows up and the player must perform more actions in order to maintain their section of beach.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?

I, BlazingNeutron, wrote almost all the code, another dev, ColinPG, developed the store open/close and main menu features.

I made almost all of the graphical assets from scratch in Aseprite and Krita, except the "staff" sprite. The use of that sprite is granted under the OGA-BY 3.0 license and here is the source:
