How does the game fit the theme?
You start with an "indestructible" base—a perfect stronghold where "nothing can go wrong." The game presents itself as easy at first, with simple waves of enemies that barely scratch your defenses. However, as time progresses, tiny flaws start to appear—systems malfunction, barricades break, scrap metal dwindles unexpectedly, and enemy waves escalate in ways you never anticipated.

It could also offer a sense of perfection or a “flawless” defense strategy, where the player feels like they have prepared for everything, ensuring that nothing can go wrong as long as they make the right choices. This could create a satisfying experience where the player's foresight and decision-making lead to a perfect defense.

What code and assets did you not make from scratch during the jam (if any)?
The wave manager script was not made by scratch. Most of the art was purchased on itch, but some assets were hand crafted. The music is from Splice.com and a public assets list will be added to the game page soon.
