to win the game you have to go through false walls

Hey!

First of all, congrats for finishing the game! How does this game have only 5 rates!? It was so awesome and the music it was amazing, I love the vibe. It was a simple game, but it was fun, you did something really cool.

If you need some feedback, here's mine: I think you should let the player to know in some way what walls are real or not because it was a trial and error and I think it can be improved, maybe some visual language. Also, I think you should put checkpoints in the game, because when the player dies he gets respawned at the beginning of the level.

Nonetheless, a very cool game, you did an amazing work!

It would be really awesome to have you playing my game too, if you don't mind of course. ^_^

Hello,

You have stated this runs on Linux but its just an exe / jar file.

I can't play this :(

Edit!
I got it to kinda...work.
I managed to get the game to load via one of my viewers (on my youtube stream, thanks 113), however, it was too big and I couldn't get it to resize? :(

DeveloperSubmitted

jar files doesn’t run on linux? Do you have java?

Please see the edit on the previous post :)
I got it to work, I had to pass a -jar flag.

however, it was so large and wouldn't resize properly. I could only see the character when I jumped and saw their head at the bottom of the screen.

Heres a clip of it:

oh I understand now, sorry about that I never saw anything like that, but can do you me a favor?
Try my other game and see if it happens tell me please that I will try to fix after the jam, they were made the same way, here is the link https://argotech.itch.io/re-date

You shouldn't even be able to move the window

Its all good.

I tried it. Same issue sadly. If it helps, I'm on a 4k screen but I tried resizing the resolution down and it's still the same issue? :)

It was better when I reduced my resolution down to 1920x1080 but it was still too large?

Sad I will remove the linux from my game for now.

What is the native linux file? Like on windows is the exe, I can convert.

Super odd. I can run the game using the JAR file just not the exe.

Native files are mixed in Linux. Could be a pure JAR (like this), .SH,

It seems to be a scaling issue to be fair but maybe it's the linux display driver? :)

I can not start the game, thanks at least for the game files)
