How does you game fit the theme?
The whole world just feels surreal and out of place. So it implies a not real world. The portals also add to that effect.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
Walls and Ground from AmbientCG.
Portals are a URP rewritten version of SebLagues Portals.
Rest is scratch.

so i updated the game so it has a pause menu, better sound, and more settings aswell as a little help for the start: https://github.com/etaZetaKaTheta/Why/releases/tag/1.2b
Looks like it could be a fun game but I can't figure out how to get out of the first room I assume you wall bounce but I can barely get a foot off the ground. If you could update that, or do something to help with that I would defiantly come back to play it more.
Maybe a bit hard to learn, but super satisfying mechanic
