Very Good Keep it up !!

Cute game, I liked all the level props that felt meaningfully placed. I got creeped out a bit when I accidentally whipped my camera around and got disoriented. Nice job!

Played only 20 games, this one is my favorite for now. So Im gonna make a full review :)

Pros: nice 3D models <3. using flashlight to passivate monsters, I guess many people used the same idea but I enjoy it every time. For example this game has the same core idea Granny's Cellar. they use music to passivate monsters. But you guys have more creative monsters I give you that.  I didnt expect to be chased by a trash bin xD please make him throw some trash, it would be more creepy.

Cons: I couldnt hear any SFX, only boosted Music. in settings I could only lower master volume. please seperate Music volue and SFX volume next time. I died many times randomly because I couldn't hear the spider behind me :D

Besides if you make an FPS Horror game you should have lots of sound effects, otherwise you can't make the player feel the environment. some wind effect, monster sounds, etc.. I mean even your main survival item "flashlight" has no SFX. those are easy to make. like turn on, turn off, change battery. Check "The Forest" or "Outlast" for inspiration. Those are my favorite FPS Horror games.

Bugs: sometimes I couldn't switch between 2 items.  Some monsters get stuck,  saw a bear stuck in the jungle. :D if you abuse Q button, you can break the animation.

Thank you very much!

This game actually does have barely any SFX which is why you weren't hearing any. There were quite some issues, and right before the submission was due some bugs appeared we couldn't fix in time. It is really unfortunate but nothing we can change now.

Really appreciate the feedback :)

smells like student work :D  first time on a Jam?

My advice would be, treat your time like gold if you work on a game like this. I see you have very detailed lighter animations. Always start with simple prototypes, make sure the core mechanics work well. you can build up on it if you have time left.

There is a saying for game jams "do not publish half work".  its a shame you had to skip on sounds :S you could easily add a royalty-free ambient sound within 10 minutes or just record a zippo and add it to your game. Such things can make huge difference to your competitors.

Yep student work. We just finished our third semester which is also the first semester we started working with Unity. With other words, this was our 2nd game ever
