Really liked the 4th-wall-breaking dialogue. It's a nice little platformer with a cool addition of the torch lighting mechanic, but... It's too hard for this kind of controls. If you want to do a game that requires platforming this difficult, controls should be really tight, responsive and precise, and here the character is sliding all over the place like a hockey puck.
Hey thanks for playing, your feedback is very constructive. I will keep in mind this for the next platformer .
I had the same problem with the right control. Liked the art and the basic idea, though.
Sorry for the late response. Thank you for trying the game, I did an update where I changed the controls. Now you can move from WASD and switch with Q.
Believe it or not, My keyboard does not have a right control key. I ended up stuck not being able to jump high enough at the beginning of the game and was not able to switch characters. The art looked cute to me. I didn't leave a rating since I was unable to play it but maybe if I could swap the control key for something else I could give a run through
This really made me think better on how to add the controls in the future. Thank you for trying this entry, I did an update with the new controls ( WASD for move and Q for switch)
I liked your game, cool concept with having two characters to control. However, I would like some different controls, I prefer WASD and instead of left ctrl you could then have Q or something, But that is just personal preferences. I really missed some soundtrack in this game or maybe just some soundeffects when people are talking and walking and so on. I liked the dialogues, they were the fun part of the game because the level design was pretty basic. This is my first game jam and first review so don't know how much feedback you are supposed to give. But this is probably an okay amount.
See you in another Gamejam! //Henrik
Thank you for the feedback.
