Antibody was an idea I had for a more casual / cute shmup type game where you had to fly around inside a human body and destroy deadly diseases. I had quite a number of body themed levels planned as well as tons of cute / humorous enemies l...

Mazed Crazed was my first serious project that I was "gung ho" about and was going to bring to market. It was inspired by the board game Labyrinth as I like the mechanic of a morphing maze. So in my version I had sliding tiles that changed...

A game of space, fucking and murder. For Bring Out Your Dead, originally for Space Fucking Jam. Narrowly missed out on being entry #69.

The Infinite Melancholy of Space Duty is a joke, gamejam project shrouded as an exploration in minimalist progression pacing, wrapped in a clicker shooter. Don't take it seriously. Visit Solar Systems! Clear outbreaks on Planets! Shoot enem...

Matchmaker (working title: The Sheep Hook Up) is the bones of a game that was abandoned some time around 2008-2009. Only the code is provided; I'm not confident about getting it to compile, and the only thing that really works is the charac...

Posted for Bring Out Your Dead - An unfinished interactive fiction game about exploring a mysterious castle with a party of helpful allies. I really like the idea of combining a exploration/puzzle IF game with an RPG-style group of party me...

Alpha Strike was the first long term project I worked on, but was cancelled for a variety of reasons. It was intended to be a rogue-lite shmup, and in the end I was able to implement a variety of enemies, random spawns, the bones of a missi...

Made for the Bring Out Your Dead jam, this Twine story is an exploration of my unfinished and abandoned projects from mid 2014 to mid 2016. Consequently, it is also an exploration of my life throughout this time. Several playable prototypes...

A fantasy WIP. Submitted to the Bring Out Your Dead game jam. I wrote up some bits about it here .

A browser game made in HTML5.

It's a great prototype but I feel like something's missing.

There's too much text and too little interaction. The puzzle and the text have only one or two words in common - a rather faint connection.

I see a couple of ways this gameplay gimmick could lead to, in order or complexity:

  • Dragging a text style or punctuation around (even a comma can be very important)
  • Transforming words in your inventory
  • Dragging an active sentence
  • Combining and splitting words in your inventory
  • Something trickier than dragging - shooting words at the text?
  • Ability to clone any noun (adjective?) from the text and insert it anywhere (with funny results), the game would check if the words important to the plot change their meaning significantly

Would be cool after a generous polishing.

For Emily Short's Bring Out Your Dead jam, a text game about jumping off towers, gliding around a landscape, and seeing things. Mostly an experiment in representing continuous space in text. Perhaps contrary to the spirit of the jam, I took...

To work out how I might create a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure game for iPhone I created a little game as a test. It is vaguely based around the ancient Welsh tale of Kulhwch and Olwen and I wrote it all in rhyme.

An old prototype. I worked on Conflux in 2014 for about 3 months with 4 others.

This is a Twine 1 game I started a couple of years ago but never got around to finishing. The central idea is kind of the 'waiting room' in Gene Wolfe's Claw of the Conciliator (or at least my fuzzy memories of it), with a bit of Aesop/Wind...
