Hello!
... and welcome to the broken telephone jam! Each jam will alternate between art and music. The winning submission of one jam will be the prompt for the next jam. This a great way to interact with fellow artists of different disciplines and a great place for developers to find their dream artists! Also, join on Discord!
To lay it all out more clearly:
- The jam this time is for artists - to make art based on a music prompt
- Make some art according to the musical piece given in the prompt section below
- The art submission that wins this jam will be used as the prompt for the next jam
- The jam next time will be for musicians - to make music based on an art prompt
Rules:
- No hateful or harmful content
- No NSFW content — let’s keep it all ages
- No AI-generative content (includes images, text, audio, video, etc.) - this work must be directly created by you
- By submitting art here, you agree that your work may be used in future Broken Telephone Jams (examples: as thumbnails for music submissions in future jams, in a video montage compiling all winning jam submissions, etc.)
Submission:
- Project with one image file for rating:
- Examples include: concept sketches, digital art or scanned art, screenshots of original visual asset
- (Recommended) Video or WIP sketches
- Project submissions containing multiple files are fine, just make it clear which single image is being voted upon
Rating:
- Fit: How well does it capture the prompt?
- Uniqueness: How much does it stand out from the others?
- Appeal: How much do you like it?
We'll try to make it so anyone who submits to any of these jams is eligible to vote in any future Broken Telephone Jam!
