Welcome to the Campfire Game Jam! 

This one week game jam is hosted by Ambitious Games (developers of Revn) and Campfire CoWorks.

Theme

The theme for this game jam is "Discovery".

Rules for the Campfire Game Jam

Please carefully read the rules before participating in the Campfire Game Jam:

1. Any game engine may be used (Unreal Engine 4, Godot, Unity, etc).
2. Submissions must be playable on a Windows 10 Operating System without requiring any additional hardware (no VR games, no mobile phone games, etc).
3. Submissions must be uploaded before March 28th at 7 PM EST.
4. Submissions may be removed at the sole discretion of the organizers.
5. Submissions must be Safe For Work.
6. You must own the rights to any assets you use. You can use marketplace assets, copyright free assets, and your own custom assets, as long as you own the rights!
7. Teams and solo devs are equally welcome! We ask that teams be no larger than five members. Each member of a winning team will receive the same prizes, except for cash prizes, which will be distributed equally amongst members of a winning team.

Prizes

There will be three winning games in this game jam - one chosen by our panel of judges, one chosen by a public community vote, and one for "best integration with Fridai Voice Assistant"!

Instructions for integrating with Fridai Voice Assistant can be found below.

Each winning team will receive one, 1-hour consultation time with the Campfire CoWorks digital entrepreneurship team to accelerate and inspire your business development, UX design, and marketing strategies. 

Each member of a winning team will be sent a basic questionnaire from Campfire CoWorks prior to the consultation. This will make the 1 hour meeting time highly focused on each team's specific needs.

***It is highly recommended to schedule a meeting time that will allow all team members of the winning team to be present for the Campfire CoWorks consultation***

Cash prizes will be split among winning team members equally.

• Jury Winner- $100 cash, Radical Motion Studio Producer 6 month subscription ($126 value) & consultation with Campfire CoWorks ($500 value)
• Community Choice Winner - $100 cash, consultation time with Campfire CoWorks ($500 value)
• Best Integration with Fridai Voice Assistant - $100 cash, consultation time with Campfire CoWorks ($500 value)

How to add Fridai Voice Assistant

To add Fridai Voice Assistant to your game, follow these steps:

1. Create a written guide to playing your game. This can be a document, spreadsheet, or a wiki page. It can include tips, hints, or information about the game (item stats, crafting recipes, locations, etc)

2. Email the guide to mark@hellofridai.com with the subject line "Game Jam - YOUR GAME NAME"

Winners will be announced on Friday, April 2nd at 6 PM EST on twitch.tv/AmbitiousDevs
