Really fun game to play, but it's difficult to read the statements and survive a bullet hell at the same time.

Maybe the statements could be shown when new enemies arrive. And if the statements don't change until the enemies are defeated it would be a lot easier to read the statements.

I plan to add a pause button so the player can read the questions and have time to think about the answer.

Game fun and ai outstanding. I do not know how you did this ai with its different attacks but it works very nice. Also, I did not understand how you can choose the capital but the game is very fun and it has a very cool art style

Developer

thanks! The ai is actually of the most basic kind: fully scripted movement and shooting patterns. By identifying the false statement about the capitals you now which enemy is extra vulnerable (has the same color). When fighting the boss, only one part is vulnerable, the part with the same color as the false statement.

What is the connection to chess beside the background and the enemys appearance? :D Game is nice, but I think for the educational part the player needs more feedback if he chose the correct answer. You can't tell, if the spaceship disappeared because the statement was correct, or just because you hittet it long enough. Also it is hard to read the texts and escape the space ships at the same time. If could be improved by pausing the game for 5 secs to let the player read the statements and then only the correct answer color is dangerous, the others won't harm. Maybe somehow this way :)

Developer

also the shooting patterns are like in chess :)

You are right about the feedback and pause, we will update the game accordingly.
